Filters

Depending on the type of fish you have in there and what size the filter intake is and the fish are you may want to make sure that they can't get sucked up. (<<of course that applies to all other filters, but when used properly there are no problems). But other then that internal filters have no effect any different then an external filter would have.

I run 2 HOB filters on my 29 gallon tank (30") without any problems. I also run 2 canisters on my 75 gallon. I feel 2 is always better than one for circulation and also in case one malfunctions, you still have water moving with the other.
