Hi
my tank that is small i am thinking of using it as a breeding tank, it has a built in fiter but i have read it is best to have a sponge one, it is in the back and has slots where water gets sucked in then it has a carbon and sponge filter part to it, it there any way to change it
the tank is called mirabello M30 if that neans anything

I'm not familiar with that type of tank but I'm guessing you can prob take a piece of sponge about the size of the opening in the wall of the tank that allow water back to the filter and silcone it around the edges so the water and whatever else has to flow through the sponge. This will make it a sponge filter :good:

If you can post a pic of it or a link to website where you can see it would help to see if this would work. I googled it and can't find anything except designer linens

Cant get a decent picture but i am sure that would work, it has to openings so i will cover them both. i will see how it goes,.....

It will be after xmas when i have the new tank :D
