It's me again. Sorry for starting several threads in just a matter of days. I've got new questions popping up every 5 minutes.

My hang-on power filter has a setting to adjust the water flowing in/out. I understand that bettas prefer still water so I decided to set the flow to the lowest setting. Will this affect beneficial bacterial level/growth since there's less water passing through the filter? I'm thinking less food (ammonia/nitrite), less bacteria.

My take on this is as long as there is water passing through the filter, then the bacteria are getting the waste and oxygen they need to stay alive.
I don't think the flow rate is too much of a problem.
Someone will no doubt correct me if I'm wrong!

Less water flow will decrease your mechanical filtration, but increase your bio filtration.
