Filter Tray Cleaning?

i need some advice on cleaning out the filter trays on my aqua 1 tank,the maintenance instructions do not mention cleaning the trays out when changing water.it has 2 large trays and 1 small 1 filled with ceramic noodles on the top at the rear.i know i need 2 keep some of the bacteria in the filter trays,would it be advisable to clean 1 at a time when doing a water change?i usually do a 25% water change every 3 weeks.

don't touch your filter trays.... just leave them.

If you must rinse them... just do it lightly in tank water you have taken out.
