the filter on my jwel tnak seems to be a touch to strogn and has just fred the angel fish across the tank! he seems ok, howveer is there anway to turn down the flow rate so as to prevent it ahppeneing again

:no: not that I know of.... I think you'll find that's quite unusual to find a Juwel filter too strong. Do you use the nozzle attachment ? If so, direct it in such a way that it lessens the direct outwards force. Try to angle the nozzle slightly downwards to the front of the tank. That might help.
 
cheers bloozoo i asked in my good lfs today and the lady ld me the same, and suggested that as the angles was new it might take time to adjust to the new tnak, and may hae just passed the out flow at the worng angle.

that said i never thought of of the nozzle good idea
 
In my opinion you really *should* use the nozzle - otherwise you just have a huge force spurting the water all over the tank. Angling will most certainly solve your problem :nod:
