Filter Recommendations?

I need to set up a hospital tank today so i'm thinking about using the HOB filter on my main tank for the hospital tank and buying a new upgraded HOB filter for the main tank. What filter brands do you love? I'm leaning toward the Aquaclear 50... does anyone have any experience to share - good or bad? Thanks, ya'll are the best!!!

How big is the tank you need a filter for?

I'm shortly getting a 125L tank and I will be using a Fluval 205 external filter AND Fluval U3 internal filter. I'm sure just one of the two would be fine though...

I have an AC50 on a 36 gallon --- it's nice because you can choose what you want to put in the media baskets. You can increase or decrease the slow slightly, and it is awfully quiet. Personally, I have no complaints at all.

Aquaclear are nice HOB. Fluval 205 canister would also be a good size for that tank.
