I have a roughly 120 gallon tank with 4 clown loaches, 5 zebra loaches, 12 neon tetras, 1 clown pleco, and 1 Chinese algae eater (aka Pond Monster). I was using 2 old Marineland Penguin 350 bio-wheel filters and one large sponge filter. Recently one of the Marineland filters stopped working, and now the second one also quit (just doesn't turn on). What would be the best replacement filters for this setup? Bio-wheels again or is there something better?

Thanks!

I prefer canister filters for large tanks and recommend looking at a fluval FX4 filter

although multiple hang on backs would work again if you prefer, I don't particularly know any good larger models from my experience, but the largest model of fluval aquaclear's might work
