Filter Problems

After fitting a new fluval 304 external filter we keep getting gushes of air pumped into the tank.
There are no kinks in the pipes nor no air stones in the tank . Are we doing anything wrong or is it a faulty filter its been hapnin for 2 days .

The pipes could be sucking air in from somwhere or you may not have primed it properley. Is it noisey.

It only makes a noise just before it blows the air out otherwise its quiet.

Id guess theres air getting in somewhere... check all intake pipes AND that the canister sealed !
