I just bought a new pro series wet dry filter for my new Saltwater tank Im getting ready to start. I know this thing come with a protien skimmer with the rio pump for the skimmer. What pump do I need to drive water filter? Im still stuck between live rock and live sand, or just sand. I want a community tank with your basic rookie style low maintenance fish. Clowns, one tang, and any other critters that are hearty for a starter. This live rock business confuses me. If I get a live rock with the sand do I have to start reefs on it? That would require extra lighting. WHich Im sure can get pricey. I also do not want to spend a fortune on hoods. I hope and would think the bulbs on the hood are changeable? Well my decession on the 55 gallon tank is made I just have to get all the hardware I need let it cycle and then add the fish. Let me know if the filter was a good choice, it sure cost enough and I have to buy a pump to drive it so what will I need to keep it good for a 55 gallon tank? Thanks solo
