Filter Off

hi

im in bed with the flu and hubby is taking care of house and kids till i get back on my feet

anyway he came and asked me if i needed anything and i asked him to turn on the air pump just before he came up to bed

didnt even think he would pull out the filter to plug in the air pump.

he came up to bed about 12 ish and i had to get up for a drink about 5 ,

i just thought i would have a look see if the pump was going and found it, so i turned it back on (he had the computer pluged in the other port

any way to the point

is it ok do i need to do anything ??

i have an external and an internal running he turned off the internal

anyway thanks for any help in advance

im going back to bed now

It should be OK, good job you got up that early really.

I think as long as the internal is big enough to cope with the quantity of water on its own, then it should have managed fine to keep the water clean, and now that you have turned the internal back on, it should recover quickly, I think bacteria can survive about 48 hours in the water, but maybe someone else can confirm that.

Had a similar prob myself (dodgy wire on the internal - and had no probs at all )
