Filter Nightmare

*&*^! sorry for my bad language , but Im just tired of this hobby , im on my 4th filter now!! and i only have been doing this aquarium hobby since november!!!!

I like my aquaclear , but , i needed a damn &*&**&**& UV sterilizer, cuz i messed on my plants and algae took over and *explicit* me up , so I got a canister for easy UV installation .I got the eheim classic and only after a wk that *********** died on me...piece of **** is hard to prime

Had the bio penguin filter but I upgraded my tank so i needed the aqua clear

Im broke , hopeless, and I need a beer

now i have a Rena so far gd

I don't think he's asking anything, just venting Seriously though, I would try taking the broken filters back to where you bought them. If they sold you something defective, it's your right to get your money back. God only knows this isn't a cheap hobby and every $ saved helps!

got the eheim classic and only after a wk that son of a ***** died on me...piece of crap is hard to prime

Well I just got an ehiem classic and couldn't be happier with it. It is so much better than the fluval I got second hand ( you want to have problems buy one of these)

As for priming just give the end of the output tube a good suck. Pretty simple.

I feel better now, I got a rena and its doing a decent job , very easy to prime and disconnect w/o any drips. I dunno if im gonna return my classic...I may use the parts , like the inlet and outlet for my rena , they r smaller and better for my tanks than the ones i got in my rena box. I'll buy another eheim filter someday, when I get a bigger tank and one that self primes

I was gonna buy a fluval but had so many bad reviews , actually rena has or consistanty better reviews than fluval and eheim too
