Filter Media Or Fish Baby Sitting Please

Having a disaster setting up and would like to know if anyone out there could help. I have too many fish in my tank and they are getting ill and I am loosing them. Is there anyone with some filter media to help me get on my way or does anyone have a quarantine tank to put some of my fish whilst I cycle?

Could you not return the fish?

I returned 4 of them that were bullying the others in the tank but as the LFS advised me I could have this many fish in for cycling they don't accept refunds. As the tank is infected with white spot and are being treated at the min I dont think they would take them back anyway.

Sorry to hear you're having all sorts of problems. I don't know the history of your probs so maybe a little refresher would help?

You're overstocked, uncycled and have whitespot is what I gather so far

Not overstocking for the size of the tank but from what I have learnt so far it is too many fish for cycling. I aksed in the filter media doner topic a few days ago but no-one has replied as yet.

All you can do is lots and lots of water changes keep the stats as good as possible and hope that the fish make it (often good water is just as important as medication).
