hi i have a three foot tank which is a foot deep and is half full of water so as to allow a basking area for me terrapins ( i know its not fish but i reckon u guys will be able to help)
i am looking for a decent filtration systeym to keep their tank clean as i keep getting a build up of green muck in the bottom of the tank resiting on the gravel - not sticking to the rocks etc???? it is near a window but is lower than it and the curtain is pulled most of the time

at the mo i have under gravel filter and a internal filet as well but i still have the problem

Not really the best place to post but you know that already so, i guess if this problem was occuring in a tropical fish tank we'd suggest getting yourself a gravel vac and cleaning your gravel once a week to pick up excess waist :)

Maybe you could get a small sponge filter. I have a hydro-sponge for my hospital tank. They are pretty cheap too. All you need is an airpump and airline.
