After today's water change, I pulled out a filter I bought a few months ago. Last time he was around the sucky thing and his back fin drifted towards it, so he was startled and swam away. I covered the sucky thing with a piece of filter pad, so its fine now. :good: But when he went under it, he was pushed down. Its a Red Sea Deco Art Nano Filter. He's in a 2.5 gal tank.

when you say pushed down, was it gentle and he recovered quickly, or was it slam him down to the gravel hard.

if its fairly gentle he may get usto it once he builds up some muscle, but if its really slamming him around you might need to block it a bit, try putting a taller plant there.

I think theres a link up top in the frequest questions about slowing flow.

is it a filter in the tank mechanical or dose it use air with a bubbler? if its a bubbler u could try getting a check valve,, got mine ai walmart 2 dollars and it is susposto keep the water from siponomng in to the tank in the even of a power outage,,,, also slow the flow a bit couilsd help
