Filter Cycling Media Help

My media in my small aquarium has been cycling for actual ages just remebered it has an all black media as if its carbon but not sure will this stop the cycling process because its been abot 2-3 week with no change

It won't stop the process but it means that, for example, if the carbon media is half the total media then when you eventually remove it,as you should with carbon, you're going to lose half your beneficial bacteria. It would probably be better to replace it with other media now.

Im using api test kit how lon do i leave tube after testing for ammonia
