Filter Change

Hi All,
I am getting a biowheel and jsut exchanging one bio filter for another My questions is how to make sure the cycling process doesnt get messed up. Should i jsut place the sponge in the new filter and leave it if so for how long or any other advice is welcome?

You have the following options:

Run the two filters side by side, or
put the media from the old filter into the new one.

I would go for the latter if you can. Two weeks should be sufficient migration time in either scenario.

I am sure you could have found this info easily enough with the search button though.
