Ok so my neon tetra got sucked into the filter on my tank. I've gotten the fish out, and unplugged the filter for the moment. The tetra that got sucked in is now missing one of its bottom fins ( i dont know the technical name for it) and I'm wondering can my fish survive without its fin? will the fin grow back? what should i do? Please help thanks.
I most likely got sucked into the filter because it was already ill, neon tetras should have no problem with filter current when healthy .
I would either put in some Pimafix, Melafix or some sort of anti finrot med in there to help heal up the fish's fins, they should grow back though.
