Fighting Fry

it's pretty funny. I've had hundreds of fry and this has never happened but these two swordtail fry are less than a week old and they're fighting each other. they imitate 2 adult males going at it, pecking at each other and wacking each other with their tiny tails. I going to monitor them to make sure they don't injure themsselves

I have witnessed my platy fry chasing each other but not actually fighting. That must be fun to watch.

i had this happen between 2 8 week old sunset females, one killed the other, it was rough play i imagined but one didnt make it, i would try to seperate the 2 TBH better safe than sorry and as for laughing about the situation...........how could you?.............JOKE!!!! yep it is quite funny to see them doing it but i never realized it would result in a death
