my boys apparently aren't aware of their name. Tiny (green/red female VT), Noah (red VT) and Fortune (yellow VT) live in a 10g in that order. Today during cleaning i put too much water in and when i came back to the tank, Tiny was in Noah's section, and Noah and Fortune were swimming around together like they were the best of friends. :S

Needless to say everybody's back where they're supposed to be. I suppose I have the fact that they can all see one another constantly to thank for their lack of... concern. They've gotten accustomed to each other and I guess fish don't really get the concept of the divider so when they were all suddenly together it was just... normal

 That's cute! You're really lucky nothing awful happened, you have nice peaceful bettas.

actually fighting fish is a misnomer.
the origianal Victorian translation from Thai (Siamese as it was back then)
was done wrong and we ended up with fighting fish, it should've been
Biting fish (as in a fish that bites)

Edited because I can't spell Victorian

Indeed Wolfy, if I recall the 'literal' translation of pla'kat chi (thai name, I apologise if I spelt it wrong) is chinese biting fish.
