Would one of those large plastic tanks you get be OK as the breeding tank? See here - plastic tank
Or would the next size up be better?
Also using this as breeding tank, how long could the fry stay in there until they get moved to a growing on tank?

You want the breeding tank to be at least 5 gallons, preferably 10. If you're looking for a cheap spawn tank, you can use rubbermaid containers. They're cheap and they get the job done. :)

Whats a rubbermaid container???
Where would I find one?
Thanks.

Actually many of the thailand breeders breed in 2.5 gallon tanks, I have also done this with success. Rubber made containers are just clear plastic tubs, clear storage bins etc.
