Few Pics Of Jack...

What's all over your glass??

nowt, it was feeding time hehehe its flake that was falling down and chiclid sticks that he'd kicked outta his gills.

Probably one of the nicest ive ever seen. Have you seen that they are not as aggro as they are made out to be?

yeah, it mentions it in the PFK article i mentioned to JayJay. He is however going to have a 48x24x24 home of his own with a lovely lady (once i find one) in the fish house. He has doubled in soze i reckon since i first got him, and if you look at the pics of him in the thread i quoted in here, you will see the size difference :)

Synirr I was saying about the main ways to tell a male cichlid are nuchal hump and long fins, of which I could see neither before.

Oh ok... I was just saying that the nuchal hump thing doesn't really come into play with JDs, since they don't develop large nuchal humps in the first place.

I kinda agree with JayJay :/ . You don't see the swept back fins, look more rounded. I dont know bout the hump, but another sign is the color pattern of the gills. Females will have more color dots on their gill plates while the males have very few to none. I do think it looks more like a female and sorry if is a male, but, just stating my opinion as jayjay was :) ....don't think we're attacking you, just noticing the usual signs.

You can show us both up by putting it with a female showong us some cute little JD babies!!! :fun: :good: :fun:

P.S. I love JD's, and would like to know how the breeding goes in the future, as I currently am trying to breed a pair
