I read on the forum the other day and someone was 4 months in to this hobby and had 15 tanks,im a bit further in but only got 3 tanks but still addicted.
I have made a few posts since i started on here and have always got good reliable help.Thanks everyone you have made this an enjoyable start to my new hobby.
I am about 6 months in from when i got my first tank a 120l interpet fish pod which started with a fish in cycle through ignorance,this tank now very stable and thriving.
My next one was a freebie 70l hex tank followed by the tank for the living room which is a 600l aqua one aquience with a fluval fx5 filter which i got the whole set up for #400 which i thought was a bargain.Both of these i did a fishless cycle and both with the benefit of mature media.The hex took about 4 weeks the 600 about 6 weeks.
What a nice time stocking them,not quite finished yat.
70L
5 red phantom tetras
5 black phantom tetras
6 assorted platies
6 assorted guppies
120L
6 glass catfish
8 assorted cories
4 clown loaches (will move in to the big tank when its matured)
1 spotted orange seam pleco
was 3 upside down cat fish but just cant find them
600l
12 lake katubu rainbows
6 boesmani rainbows
6 bolivian rams
20 zebra danios
2 Surinam Geo
2 gold gourami
What doyou think of the tanks and stocking.
