Festivums

My mall has a petstore in that has become pretty decent latley. Thy have a lovely festivum cichlid, that is about 3-4 inches for $3. I really wanted one of those, but I am not sure if they would do good with plants or angel fish.

They'll do fine with Angels, but only if it's a big tank - I wouldn't mix them in less then a 125 gallon - Severums are mild as far as cichlids go, but they're much bigger then the angels. They will destroy your plants.

festivums...not severums

They are very peaceful these fish and can handle most tank mates.
But be sure that they're;
a)not too big and aggresive
b ) not too small like neons.

They like alot of plants and shade and stay mostly at the top. they'll take most foods and also like to have some company, but it's not needed.
I'm sure they'll do fine with angel fish.
are they going in your 55?

Actually now I think that it isnt a festivum, but some kind of dwarf cichlid. Well im going to get him tommoro, so if he is still there I will post pics when I get it home.
