I have had my tank for roughly four years now and have always used live plants. However I have never bothered adding a fertilizer but I was forever removing/adding plants when they died. I have now decided to start using Tetra Plantamin liquid.
I was wondering whether it would be best to wait until my next water change to add the first dose?
It says on the bottle to add 5ml per 10l for a newly set up aquarium or at each partial water change. Or 5ml per 20l for re-fertilisation every 4 weeks.
So what should I add for my first dose and when?
When doing a water change it says and are adding a dose per litre is that for the whole tank or just the amount you are adding during the water change?
These might be stupid questions but I just wanted to check.
