I have several plants in my 3 tanks. It took a while to add one or two plants every time I visit the pet shop, which isn't that often. I use liquid fertilizer. Just that it said that to do the dosage every week. I do it every 5 days instead of a long week. As I have more plants in the tank, should I increase the dosage or change to every 4 days or 3 days? Will that hurt the plants or what? I would like to see some answers, not silent treatment which I am seeing on this forum.

Hi bluenavigator, I don't know much about plants, but thought i'd reply so you don't think you're getting more silent treatment  .
If it were me, i'd do the reccommended weekly dosage every 7 days and not more often as you add more plants. If i wanted better fertilisation i would go for a complement of different methods like under-gravel tabs for root fertilisation, nutrient-rich substrate, CO2 and increased lighting.
If it were me ^_^ I'd be worried about any fish that may or may not be in the tank being harmed by overfertilizing with the liquid.
hope this helps until someone who really knows their stuff replys.

BTW, i haven't been a member here very long, but i have found that everyone here is great about replying promptly and being very helpful.
