Hi,

Currently have 130 litre tank which has got java fern tied around with bogwood.

The fert that i currently use is JBL Ferropo and after having a discussion with a fellow forum member, they pointed out that this product does not contain phosphates or nitrates.

So im wondering whether dry powder is the way to go? Have never used them, so would like to know whats the best one to use, or if the liquid ferts are better?

The JBL Ferropo is around £13, so was wondering whether there is anything in the market which is better and better value for money, whether the liquid ferts or dry powders.

Look forward from hearing your responses

Thank you.

Tropica Plant Nutrition+, the + is the phosphates and Nitrates the normal TPN doesn't have it. Have a look online, its not cheap but its awesome.

If you are not dosing or injecting carbon then you shouldnt need extra nitrate and phosphate. If the tank is moderatly stocked with fish then they should produce enough.
Folks need to stop blindly naming and advising products when they dont know anything about the other persons system (what lights they have or CO2 if any).
The pinned topics are a good place to start.

Or maybe folks just answer the question in hand,

So yes if you have been advised you need phosphates and nitrates TPN+ is good for it.
