Hi guys

I run a Nutrafin yeast CO2 system and have a young heavily planted nano tank (35l). There will be fish in there very soon -

a) What liquid fert shall I use or are they all as good as each other ( I have one I got from my local maidenhead aq. with a company name I haven’t heard of - they recommended it)

and

b) Do I need to put any liquid co2 in(Easy Life EasyCarbo) or will the Nutrafin be enough? The guy in my LFS didn’t even know what this was so couldn’t help.

Lighting wise I am running about 2wpg and want to keep some fairly demanding plants so want to help the plants out as much as poss.

Would love some help on this one.

Two side question:

Is about 8 hrs enough a day for lighting the tank?

Thanks

Ed G

Unfortunately not all liquid ferts are created equal, Tropica TPN+ provides everything plants need. The diy co2 will be enough provided you can can keep it at the correct rate constantly. However on a tank that small you could get away with just dosing liquid carbon as it will only require very small doses.

Thanks dude I will gewt some TPN+.

Yer I plan to use yeast CO2 for a while to get the plans started and if the levels seem to be a bit to random I will cut it down to liquid ferts.

Cheers for your advice.
