anyway i have 2 female guppies (fry) they are the size of a small male and they are chasing the new males i got today ? dose this mean they want to mate

the females are still virgins
are they old enought to have babyS? they are 8 months old i think maybe smaller

They're getting pretty close to mature. They may have a few less, but I wouldn't count on a very small batch.
