Female Swordtails?

Hello

I have just got 2 female Swordtails and I think 1 of them is pregnant anyway every time I put a algae wafer in for the pec the Swordtails eat them is this ok or is something wrong???
I also give them some flake food before I put the algae wafer in. to see if a can deter them away from it.
p.s I am scared that the pec will not get them because the Swordtails keep nudging him away.

All fish love to eat algae wafers, it's very commen for most of the fish to nibble at them, try giving them cucumber and courgette weighed down and pleco's will love that as well, and fewer other fish can eat it.

You must take the skin off of the cucumber or courgettes because now days they are sprayed with things which will infected your tank. I dident take off the skin and killed my leopard pleco.

put the wafers right in with the plecs , literally next to them and distract the swordys with live food or shelled peas always works for us
