Female Sorority Tank

Well with being on this site on a daily basis it really isn't hard not to drool over all the lovely betta's . I did have a male but had to rehome him due to needing space in the tank for cory fry. So now i'm on the hunt for a bigger tank that i can use as a sorority for a few females

Been away browing and spotted this The only thing thats stopped me from buying it is the fact that it's open topped .... Seen a few Hex tanks aswell but unsure on the size i'll need

Was looking at stocking it with the following

4/5 female Betta's
3/4 Cory
And some snails to help combate algae (that i always seem to get in my smaller tanks !)

Anyone direct me ? Looked on the classifieds and fleabay to no avail...Well minus the 6 footer i spotted for 80 quid

it's a clearseal hex thats 19 1/2 inches tall without the lid - my other hex is shorter 16 inches tall and 55 ltrs approx

yup it's a clearseal tank - both my hexs are , you can get metal or wood stands for them aswell
good little tanks

i am using an elite 60l for mine, planning on having 6-7 girls then my 2 BN plecos, it will be heavily planted and over filtered

can only seem to find the smaller one to the one in the pic . Stand isn't really needed as it will be going in the kitchen ...Really miss having all those eyes watching me while i cook ! lol

would a 30 litre suffice? or am i looking at 50L plus?

Have now been looking for 7 hours found a few but none that are easy for me to get !!

a 30l IMO is too small for a group, i'd say 50l plus is the way to go
