Heres my new tank.

female betta sorority with up to 15 females, 5 corys(2 black stripe, 2 peppered), 5 baby albino bristle nose plecos, 1 lone ?otto?, 10 ghost shrimp(may seen be a snack), 3 ?prawns?(i male 2 females), and some nails.

hope this tank thrives, going tomorow too buy a nother 36 " light. what bulbs are best? i need 2

and i set up 2 inernal filters, tank was cycled prior to planting but i took old filter out. it was to much flow, bettas dont like it.

and i set up a c02 mixture in a 2 liter bottle, with a air stone into one of the filters. will this be enough?
should i do another one in a few days, so i can change them out without going c02less? also i used 6 plant tabs(1 for every5 gallons) should i use liquid florasomething also?

thanks alot for any help/comments i use them all!

..my gf bought him, always thought he was a chinese alge eater, i thought they were the same, i dont know much about those. i just know he doesnt do his job if he is an algae eater... lol

what is the plant, looks like a think amazon sword in front of the anarhis in the back right?

Doesn't look like a CAE, atleast he doesn't look like mine or the pics i've seen, the patterning is wrong, maybe it could be a SAE? I don't know what they look like, so it was just a guess.

nope markings are wrong for an SAE

SAE:

and not quite the right markings for a CAE

Looks like some type of vallis to me... I could be wrong though.

I think its a type of swordplant, (E. uruguayensis) grows to about 12 inches, I used to have some nice plants.

I am no expert on Co2, any helps and your tank is not very heavily planted, you would have to measure the ph difference with Co2 to know how many ppm you are getting. The swordplants like to take their food through the roots so if you can get root tabs for them they would be happy.

My guess is that you have a cae, though I am not sure. He might be a pain to the cories as he/she gets bigger. The bettas he shouldn't bother, its bottom feeders they can get very nasty with.
