my female red sword tail just gave birth to a liter of about 15+ fry... and no its 4 days later and she is acting sort of funny.... she is swimming in spirals all around the tank and likes to be lay at the bottom of the tank upside down and have her fins still moving... plz tell me whats up... there is also a male red sword tail in the tank too.. and baby bala shark.. (all the fish are same size) fry are kept in breeder net....

nvm... i think shes dead now :byebye: but her belly looks like she has more babies inside... are they dead too or whats up?!?!?!?!

If she's dead, most likely the babies are too, unless you can get them out in the first few minutes after she died. And this still doesn't mean they'll live.

It sounds like she may have had a swimbladder problem. Check to make sure none of the other fish look like they have it, and then keep watching them for a while after. If they do show signs, you can try giving them a pea, but I've found Swimbladder very hard to cure. You can try asking on the forum for help too. :)
