Female Ram Is Off Colour.

Hi Guys, well my female ram is off colour, the male looks wonderful and full of folour, but the female has no colour and is constantly opening and closing her mouth. I have looked at the other fish and they all seem fine. No opening and closing of mouths on anyone else and they all look perky. No Ammonia detected, Nitrate is 50 ppm and PH is around 7 and KH is around 6 deg. Does anyone know what it could be ?

Nitrite? and your nitrate is a little high but I wouldnt say dangerously so. Any other visible symptoms? Bloating, thinning, petruding scales, inflamation?

Well it seems more like thinning, also no red belly, I have attached a picture, also she has lost interest in food.

Is the fish still eating OK ?
How long have you had it ?
Is it rubbing on any of the decoration / gravel etc ?

No Rubbing, nothing, it doesn't seem to eat anything. I will be feeding them bloodworms today and will see if she eats them. She just sits in the same place and opens and closes her mouth. She hardly swims anywhere. Just sits there same place. She is think and her red belly has faded.

Just fed them blood worms and she ignores the food...
