I noticed last night what looked to be a bloody belly, as tints of red were showing. I noticed a fresh batch of fry as well, so I assumed maybe she gave birth. I hadn't witnessed a live birth yet, so wasn't sure if the hint of blood was a normal affect that would subside shortly after. Worried, I checked back on her this morning only to find that there are about 5-6 eggs sticking out of her left side. You can clearly make out the orange eggs with the little eyes inside them. She still has a bit of blood in her abdomen, and I'm not sure what to do here. My thoughts are either to let her be, and hope the babies hatch soon to relieve what I'm assuming is stress on her, or do I put her out of her misery, and if so, whats the best method of doing so?
Please let me know what you all think!
Thanks in advance,
Peter
