hi i have 3 female platy 2 have given birth lately, however i have seen 5 clear fry today,
they are not my black ones fry ,hers are a week old.
they are not red wag she is due a week on monday,
i do have a blue coral that has a very large black gravid spot, shes been the same size for 2 weeks,
is it possable shes having some over a week or more?
i have fry in main tank 5 weeks old, 5 in breeding net,now 5 clear ones in main tank. .

My guess would be either the Red Wag or the Blue Coral. Red Wag fry can take a bit of time to color up, so they might have been born clear. Them being the Blue Coral's fry seems more likely though, as they almost always tend to be white/clearish. It is possible for them to spread out the birth of a batch over a week or so. Or it could be a second batch. Most Livebearing females have embryos of different ages in them, and perhaps some fry came out early. But my guess as to the fry would definitely point towards the Blue Coral first. :)
