Female Platy

Hi All

Over the pass couple of days my Female Platy has been looking ill and now she has finally got to the stage where she is laying on the bottom of the tank.

A month ago another platy had die, she had recently given birth and suddenly went really thin and died a day later.

I don’t think they are both connected but I thought I would mention it

Any ideas on what is wrong with the female.

Does she look bloated at all? What are you feeding?

I feed them on Fish Flakes (varied brands), and occasionally bloodworm, I have recently given them peas just in case, but no she is not bloated.

I can’t see any parasites, flukes etc.

Hmm, could be an internal infection.

I had the same problem like 3 months ago. except it happened to all my fish. lucky I saved my pleco. But all my other fishes in the tank died around the same time. I had to start all over. I lost all of them T_T.
At first it appeared that they had some fungi affection. I bought some medicine to fix it up. But it just got worser and then my fish started to sank to the bottom a few days later. then died.

Things have got worse now!!

2 Female Platy are now ill

One is at the top very thin, shaking its body as to move, but not going forward.
The other is lying on the bottom still breathing very slowly.

The only thing i can find that matches the first one is Fish TB, which is not good for my whole tank or me.

Any help

No need to make 2 threads. But as I said, I would tihnk its Fish TB.

I'd remove any healthy fish before what ever the diesease is spreads. Mine spread very quickly. It only took mine about 3 days and every fish in my tank were sick.... T_T
