Tank size: 108l (36"x12"x15")
pH: 7.8
ammonia: 0.25
nitrite: 0
nitrate: 20
kH: 10.2
gH: Unknown (test ran out and I forgot to pick up another while at the LFS)
tank temp: 26c constant

Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior): She seemed happy enough and was swimming around then about 3 days ago I noticed she wasn't really moving around the tank much and sticking to the bottom. Today I came home from university to find her floating on top of a rock with all her fins pinned to her side, dead :( She was a Sunset Wag, as is the other that is still alive in the tank.

My other female is doing the same now as well, all the other fish seem fine, don't want to loose this female as well as then I only have the male left :( They have black spots on them (the females, well female now) which I just assumed was normal as no other fish are getting them.

Volume and Frequency of water changes: 30% every other day, 50% every other one of those days.

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: API water conditioner, Tetra SafeStart (added to start the tank), Media - 1 tray of BioBalls, 2 trays of Bio

Tank inhabitants: 11 x Neon Tetra, 3 x (1M, 2F) Guppies, 2 x (1M, 1F) Platy, 5 x Diamond Tetra, 2 x Pleco

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): 101 plants added today

Exposure to chemicals: None recently apart from API conditioner just to use up my last bottle, in the past Tetra NitrateMinus, Tetra SafeStart, Tetra AquaSafe, and Tetra EasyBalance (I like Tetra stuff lol)

The water was changed out today about 50% when I added the plants and cleaned the sand, which I can no longer do as there are too many plants in the tank.

Please help as I don't want to loose my Platy, she's lovely and cost a fair bit :(

Cheers
Adam

You have ammonia reading it can soon cause a fish to die.
Clamped fins as well which is a sign of stress due to the bad water quality.
