I had 2 female red wags and 1 male. One of the females showed signs of internal parasites; clamped fins , really skinny and hiding.. I treated the whole tank to be on the safe side. Nowfins are open and swimming around and gaining weight. Just one small problem she is now a he! Is she/he a late bloomer?

from what i know or may have heard in the past, many young platys or any livebearer for that fact look to be male or female some times and then develop to be the opposite sex.
i dont know if this applies to plattys im not sure but also some times they can change sex so the spcies carrys on and they can produce more fry but im rearly not sure and its a bit of a guess :/ .
