What is better too have in a tank with male guppies and corys.

A female Dwarf, or Male?

Are males less agressive? Will the female be attacked by the male guppies?

Thanks!

I noticed that the male was more aggresive towards other fish than the female (I had dwarf gouramis, of course). However, none of the fish ever got hurt, so I'd thinkk go with the males if a little aggression is ok, since males are far more colorful.

Im not sure that either sex finds guppies to be particularly threatening. Iv never had problems with gouramis and guppies before, but gouramis do have a tendancy to be agreessive toward bettas, angle fish, and cichlids of the larger variety.

I have 2 male blue dwarf gouramis in my 29 gallon tank, they do well as a community fish, as they just do their own thing. Sometimes the bigger one of the two might chase the smaller one, but nothing other than that happens. For the most part they just swim around all happy. They share a tank with rosy barbs, 2 bala sharks, 2 ADFs, and one snowbal pleco, neither of them disturb any of the other fish.
