can female opaline be aggressive towards another female because i have 2 female and a male and it seems like she likes to chase the other female as well sometimes but then sometimes they're both together

I think the females establish dominance just like the males do. I had a large Blue female that constantly chased my Opaline female to the point that I had to return the Blue. Now that Opaline female chases the Pearl male & female but not as bad as the Blue had chased her. At some point I think it's just playful hunting & chasing, not necessarily real aggression since they don't really hurt each other when the chased one gets caught. If that makes sense............. :look:

yeah i also thought that maybe since one of the female is kinda smaller then the other one thats also another cause of why shes being chased could this also be why ?

Yeah, size matters to fish.............

I always try to keep all the fish of a species close in size for this reason, although my Von Rio Tetras are all different sizes
