My guppy has been producing young for the past two weeks, as far as I can tell all the surviving fry are female, is this common

i think temperature has someting to do with it, is there tank heated?
i keep mine in aunheated and rarely get a male, but my sister keeps hers heated and gets more males

You're going to need 1-2 months before you can tell. Livebearers do produce more offspring that are female than male. It's not even close to 1:1 from my understand and experience.

yeh, in my experiance, with the tank at about 26-27degrees, the ratio of male to female is around 1:3/1:4.
