My female mpanga has been holding for about 2 days, i saw that she had spit out one egg, which was infertile, the rest are still inside her mouth, how long should i wait till i strip her of her fry? i was thinking of leaving her like that for 2 1/2 weeks, then stripping her.

I also was wondering, one of my male mpanga isnt eating, i got him today, he is active and nothing seems to be wrong, i think its due to shyness and since hes a new comer, hope he eats tommorow. Anyone know their preffered diet?

Thanks.

I can't think of any mpanga though could be missing soemthing if it the labidochromis mbamba, then you really shouldn't have to strip if you plan on raising the fry, just move her to another tank between one and two weeks after she begins holding, and remove her as soon as you can when the fry are spat out
vantgE..he definitely means Mpanga ...Pseudotropheus Elongatus Mpanga.

Eh yeah I have some of those, I knew I heard it before and went through the species articles and all I could find was mbamba, mpanga would be a location in the lake then and could still be something else but if it is mpanga elongatus then the same applies one of mine is holding right now too
