Female Marigold Swordtail

My husband and I just added some more fish to our tank. Question is about our female Marigold Swordtail. She has been hiding in around the plants and just kind of lying there. She will swim around and eat, though not as much as she had when we first got her. Her belly is rather large and she has a darker gravid spot. Today I noticed what I thought was poo coming from her bottom, but it didnt quite look right. It has a whitish appearance and towards evening, it is still there. Could she be trying to drop her fry and having trouble? She doesn't seen to be distressed, just kind of lathargic as the day comes to an end. The male has been hanging round her more tonight as well. Any advice, and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just took a look in the tank and found my female swordtail dead. She looks ok, other than being dead that is. Don't know if maybe she was trying to have fry and died while doing so, or what. I am so sad

Hope the new one does ok.
