Female Has Bitten Fin

Ok, one of my Synirr babies has chopped up fins on the one on the bottom of her belly, a few chunks are missing. Should I just add bettafix to the water? I already add salt and water conditioner. Anything else I can do? thanks

There's actually been some discussion about a few of Synirr's babies developing an interesting "raggedy" pattern on their anal fins; just a little quirk a few of them seem to have. I'll try to find a pic to link you to first, so you can see if that's the same thing you're dealing with.

thanks andie, yeah they are chunks just like that one has, but I think it was bitten cause she was perfectly fine earlier.

I'd just keep the water extra clean and watch her. The bites will probably heal up quickly, but if not she may be like the male Andie posted the pic of. No idea what's up with those guys, it's like they can't regenerate tissue like normal fish can or something . It's just a small handful that are like that though, so I doubt that's her problem.
