I'm currently treating my fish for Fin & Tail Rot and, after research, I am continue Malachite Green with the MelaFix and PimaFix.

My problem is that all but one fish, a female guppy, has shown improvement. She hides in a corner of the tank, won't move unless I force her with the net and is not eating.

When I did force her with the net she just kind of "hobbled" back to the corner. :/

I don't know if I should ........ or if I should give it another 24-48 hours. :/

Ammonia = 0
Nitrite = .5 (doing 30% water changes daily until cycle is complete)
Nitrates = Close to 5
PH = 7.8

Temp = 80.5

try to reduce the nitrate and nitrite. dats fine wot ur doin. first put the fish in a breeding basket or separate tank. then add a little bit of salt. have u got any clown loaches

put her in a breeding net and force her to eat. My Platy was like that but i cured him with a breeding net.
Sadley 2 weeks ago he died of dropsey :-( by by my little mating masterpiece.
I called him that because all of my females were always pregnent!

The Nitrite is a little high, because of the cycle, but I thought Nitrates averaged around 10 to 20 on a fully cycled tank. :unsure:

As for moving her, I was thinking that until I started watching for the last 5 minutes and the other guppies actually appear to be helping to get her swimming and keeping her company. :blink:

my goldfish was dying Ulcers,fin rot,swimbladder every thing went my other goldfish seemed to be helping her but i figured out they were realy EATING her.

Bless her. :-(
Because of this i moved to tropics and i am glad i did!

She didn't make it. :( None of the other fish were eating on her. I'm not sure what it was, but all the rest of the fish are improving.

She did not appear to be suffering from Fin Rot, but I have read it may not always only affect the fins. :/
