Female Guppy Problem ):

my female guppy, Storm, keeps on nipping at my other female guppy, Fate. what is wrong with her? when i got her, she wasnt that aggressive. but then a few days later she kept on nipping Fate, and occasionally the male guppy. so i removed her from Fate and the male guppy and placed her in a different container for now. i heard that she may be hungry or something. any replies would be helpful!

my dad lost his female guppy because she was pregant in the main tank he put her in the baby tank and the 2 orange and black males where chasing her so he put the 2 plattys in the main tank and guess what the 3rd male platty the daddy is sorting his sons out and she died the guppy

Providing some extra hiding spaces could solve the problem..

i dont think Fate is pregnant..

If Fate has ever been in a tank with a male guppy, it's almost 100% certain she is pregnant; guppies are most of the time.

I wouldn't keep any fish in small, unfiltered containers for any length of time; they soon suffer from ammonia poisoning. More plants for hiding places is your best bet.

hmm... that sounds reasonable. ill try to get some fake plants asap, but for now she's in a one gallon container since i dont have any plants in the tank. ill do partial water changes frequently in the container.

get a small breeding tank put it in your tank if the guppy gives birth to 10 then 20 the next time you would have alot because my dad has lots of babies
