Female Guppy Alone

Ok guppys like to be in groups or trios correct, because my female guppy is alone right now and she doesnt move much but she did until the other female died due to old age. This is normal correct and to correct it I need to get another male and female. And I can have 3 male guppys in a 29gallon and be ok correct.

You may need two more females if you get another male, She could also be ready to give birth, is she big? That tank size should be fine

No she's not pregnant but you are thinking that it would be better to get 2 more femals and a male. I am going to my lfs real soon sa depending how much they are I may only get one more female

Ok I got another female and male guppy today and so far the female that I had in there before isn't swimming with them and still just sits on the top. She should start swimming with them right?

Due to the sex drive of the males it is reccommended around 3 females to 1 male

Yes I know but I am hoping one of my baby guppies will be a female and I will put her in the tank but so far the female still has been sitting at the top of the tank even with the two new guppies. They go up to see her but she wont go anywhere. What's up with this

She could be ill... is she eating? It's possible she caught what killed your other guppy.

She almost seems to have a little bit of a curved back which killed one of my guppies a couple months back.
