please help i have a female endler guppie who is pregent but today i came home to find her nose pointing down and struggle to swim what can i do what is up with her

sounds like swim bladder problems, feed a cooked pea but do not put the skin in there, you can try epsom or aquarium salt, or some Maracyn(USA), Myxazin(UK), and lower the water level in the tank to take some of the pressure off the fish for a few days

i placed her in a plastic tub with holes in and got it floting on the top of the tank with enough water in it to keep her flat and not nose diving i just gave her a pea will this be ok

just make sure you aerate the water so she can breathe. I would just lower the tank water to about 50% or maybe stick her in a vase with a heater and an air stone, fill it up about half way or something like that. A net might work as well. Please keep us updated on how she is doing

will do what whould have caused this i also have a fancy tail guppie who is swimming about with his tail down nose up is this same thing and what can i treat my tank with to save these

could be deformed, could be over feeding, constipation, bacteria or parasites, egg impaction in females, gulping air, there are many reasons, are you in the USA or the UK? If you are in the USA then I would recommend Maracyn, if you are in the UK then I would suggest Myxazin, or any medication for fish that clears up parasites or bacteria, try the peas first and fast them for like two days, if it doesn't clear up then I would treat the tank. I usually give my fish peas at least once a month to help them poop and keep them regular.
