Had a pair of discus, male leopard female blue scorp snakeskin, theyve spawned 3 times, and always went around together, just got home from work and shes chasing him away and the group (6 fish) all seem to be a bit uneasy, selling 2 of them soon trying to just get 2 pairs but thought these 2 where bonded any1 had this happen? Doesnt look like shes paired with any others but will keep an eye on them

It's aggressive breeding behavior, if she is nipping at his flank, and squaring up head on. She is just showing him that she is needing to spawn. the rest are uneasy because she is staking out her spawning site. After a day or two she will be looking calmer with her mate, but will still be hammering the others. When you feed them try to feed them in 2 areas at the same time, one spot for the pair and one spot for the others.

better to put the female on her own for a little while. Maybe a week or so then reintroduce her again.

My pair spawn about once a week and i have to scrape the eggs off the glass every time because the male attacks the female when she is guarding the eggs for some reason. But the eggs are usually UN-fertile other wise i would have separated the pair.
