Female Blue Ram

hi all.since my pair of german blue's spawned last week (unsuccessfully)my female seems to have lost all her color.she seems fine as do all my other fish and the parameters are cool.
any ideas ?

Feed her some good quality foods and make sure the water quality is good. She might take some time to get back to normal after failing to spawn effectively.

I would agree entirely Just like a human pregnancy (i know they are two completely different process', but for comparitive sake), a female just can't pop up after giving birth/laying eggs and feel 100%. It takes alot out of their body to produce offspring. She will be fine in no more than a week prob.

Yeah when a female has finished spawning and is not ready to spawn again she looses colour, I think it’s just a way of telling males to leave her alone. When she begins to develop eggs again and is ready to mate she will put on her make up again.
